Our Technology | Reporting Technology Our technology is based on industry-standard interfacing techniques, and can be integrated as much or as little to your system as you prefer. Data about each transaction (we do not need the full credit card number) is transferred to our services via http or other formats, and we provide the information back to you via HTTP or via email reports. There are 3 main ways that our technology can be implemented: Live transaction verification scoring: Data is sent to our servers, and a simple 1-10 fraud score is returned to you. You are able to make your ow decision as to whether or not to process the transaction. Live transaction verification results: Data is sent to our servers, and MerchantSense returns various data on pattern matching, Bank Intentifier matching, and various other criteria. You process this data and decline/allow the transaction based on your own criteria. Post-transaction verification: Data is sent to our servers, compiled, and fraud scoring and data processing is performed via our criteria and sent back to you. You are free to analyse each transaction & make shipping decisions/refund decisions based on the information that we provide to you. We also provide a manual interface for salespeople to check single transactions & get an immediate fraud score feedback. All of these technologies are easy to implement, and having the choice means that you can leave the transaction decision up to our system, up to yours, or up to your sales team to decide on a case-by-case basis.
